Presentation of our universities in Berlin, Heidelberg, Hamburg and Leipzig and the creative degree programmes on offer

The trial lectures take place at the same time.

4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Trial lecture B.A. Audio Design (EN/DE): Creative Sound Design and Resampling in Ableton Live
Everything sounds good! A short introduction to sound design with self-created samples using the DAW Ableton Live with Prof.. Tilman Ehrhorn

4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Presentation of the degree programme B.A. Illustration (EN/DE)
Tell stories with pictures, shapes and colours! Be it with a pencil or digital tools for a children's book or an animated film - Prof. Nele Anders uses examples of her students to present the diverse areas of this Bachelor's degree programme and shows possible career prospects.

4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Trial lecture Film & Television: Scenic resolution in film design (only in German)
In his lecture, Prof Lars Roth will explain  why clear and detailed staging is important in film production and how the individual shots interlock in the best possible way to drive the story forward and create tension. The dialogue and acting, as well as camera movement and editing, are part of the tools in our Bachelor's degree course Film and Television.

4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Trial lecture in our B.A. Media management: Storytelling in Journalism: the reporage 
Storytelling gives reports a special dynamic. It goes beyond mere information; readers are drawn into the story emotionally. In this sample lecture, Prof. Dr. Michael Beuthner explains how lively narrative techniques and human perspectives can not only inform the audience, but also touch them.

B.Sc. Reality Reality & Game Development: Presentation of the degree programme (in German)
Jennifer Weber, academic assistant at the AIM Institute in Heidelberg, presents this degree programme with its focus on Game Art, Game Design, Game Programming, Technical Art, Virtual & Mixed Reality and Business Information. Creativity, IT and business are combined here and complement your skills.
